Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully before agreeing and placing a booking with Wilder Sauna.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS. THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.
Health and Safety
• All persons using the sauna or nearby river do so at their own risk.
• Any persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to use the sauna or cold plunge.
• Nudity is not permitted in the sauna.
• All persons use the sauna and cold plunge at their own risk.
• It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer if plunging in the river and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures.
• Remember to stay hydrated, before, during and after your session
• Please remove any loose hanging jewellery
• The site is a natural environment and therefore can be treacherous, Wilder Sauna takes no responsibility for any injury caused at our site.
You must not use the sauna if you:
• suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes;
• are pregnant;
• are prone to dizziness or fainting
• have any fungal infections or open wounds on your body.
Age Restriction
The age restriction for Community Sessions is 16 and for Private Sessions it is 12. The only exception to this is Family sessions where children aged 12-16 are permitted.
Parents or guardians will need to sign a waiver on arrival for anyone under 18 years of age.
Children between 12-16 are only permitted in Private Sessions if accompanied by a parent or guardian inside the sauna on a 1 : 1 ratio and who accept full responsibility for their child's safety.
Sauna Rules:
• The Sauna rules must be adhered to at all times.
• Wash your feet in bucket provided before entry and re-entry.
• Remove skincare and haircare products.
• Please sit on a towel at all times when inside the sauna. We rent towels and these can be purchased when you make your booking.
• You must not stay in the sauna for longer than 15 minutes at a time.
• You may only pour provided water onto the stones within the sauna.
• Please do not add essential oils into the water ladle or bucket.
• Please do not bring water bottles into the sauna. Please leave bottles in the changing room.
• Please respect the staff and other sauna users
• Please do not take photos or videos inside the sauna during communal sessions to respect privacy.
• Please keep access points clear and enter and exit safely.
• Get changed within your allotted time and do not linger to allow the next group entry.
• Please do not use any shampoo or soap products in the cold shower
Lost Property
Wilder Sauna takes no responsibility for the damage or loss of customers' property.
GROUP BOOKING RESPONSABILITY
If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make your group aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use. Please share the details provided here.
WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY; COVENANT NOT TO SUE
I, for myself and group and for our personal representatives, executors, administrators, heirs or next of kin, forever waive, release, discharge, agree to hold harmless, and covenant not to sue Wilder Sauna, and their owners, shareholders, members, partners, employees, officers, directors, agents, and other affiliated persons or entities from any and all liability for any death, personal injury, damage to personal property, loss of personal property, costs, expenses, legal fees, actions, causes of action, suits, obligations, judgments and claims of any nature that I sustain in connection with my participation in the Sauna, except to the extent such damages, injuries, or death result from conduct that constitutes greater than ordinary negligence under UK law.
INDEMNIFICATION
I/We indemnify and agree to hold harmless Wilder Sauna and their owners, shareholders, members, partners, employees, officers, directors, agents, and other affiliated persons or entities from any and all liability for any death, personal injury, damage to personal property, loss of personal property, costs, expenses, legal fees, actions, causes of action, suits, obligations, judgments and claims of any nature arising from, or in connection with, my participation in the Sauna.
SEVERABILITY
Pursuant to UK law, nothing in this agreement purports or intends to waive liability for damage, injuries, or death resulting from conduct that constitutes greater than ordinary negligence. If any provision of this agreement is held invalid, such provision will be severed from this agreement, but the remaining provisions of this agreement will remain in full force and effect. I/We have carefully read the Wilder Sauna’ Terms & Conditions and understand its contents.
I am aware that by signing this agreement, I am waiving certain valuable rights, including the right to sue others for certain claims.
ADMISSION POLICY
Wilder Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.
PRIVACY POLICY
How We Handle Your Information
This policy covers the personal information Wilder Sauna collects and manages when you use www.wildersauna.com.(http://www.wildersauna.com) We take data protection seriously and follow all relevant UK data protection regulations.
Third-party sites linked from our website are beyond our control. We're not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Check their policies before using them.
Information We Gather
Contact Forms – Your name, email, phone number, and message content when you submit enquiries.
Phone Conversations – Only details you agree to share for service delivery.
Email Correspondence – Your emails and our replies stay on file while the matter is active and for five years afterward, unless you tell us to delete them.
In-Person Interactions – Contact details you give us face-to-face may be used for email, mail, or phone contact. We keep this for five years from your last contact, unless you object.
Website Analytics – We don't use cookies. We do use analytics tools like Google Analytics to improve the site and user experience. These collect anonymised data including:
• visitor numbers
• which pages you view and for how long
• how you interact with pages (scrolling, clicks, navigation)
• referral sources and exit destinations
• load times and errors
• visit timestamps
• technical device data (IP address, OS, browser type, HTTP codes)
This helps us understand site usage and make improvements. It's part of our legitimate business interest in providing a better service.
Current Customers
Your data is held under legitimate interest. We may send you marketing unless you opt out at hello@wildersauna.com.(mailto:hello@wildersauna.com)
Marketing Communications
Newsletters, SMS offers, surveys, and feedback requests use your information only where legally permitted and serve our legitimate interest in promoting the business.
Newsletter subscribers' details go to a third-party provider that manages our email campaigns. You requested these communications by subscribing.

Changes to all above Policies
These policies may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes to our privacy policy by posting the new policy here on our website.
You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before your session. To do so please follow the link within your booking confirmation email.
We are unable to refund any changes or cancellations within 48 hours of your booking.
In the unlikely event that we cancel your booking you will be notified by email and refunded.

We are located at Badgers Holt, Dartmeet.
You can find us by parking in the main car park and walking to the Badgers Holt gate at the back of the car park. (Please dont drive into Badgers Holt) Come through the gate and we are immediately on your left hand side through a smaller signposted gate. Please do not enter Badgers Holt without a booking.
Please note the car park is a paid car park. If you park by The Chalet signs it costs £1.
